Adventure Begins @ Your Library! Summer Reading is Just Around the Corner!

Our summer reading program schedules and reading logs are availale at the library!  The opening party/movie is at 1:00pm on June 5th!

The library is excited to announce that we are a satellite site for a free virtual drawing workshop this summer with Nickelodeon Animation Studios! There will be 2 different age groups that meet on the following Tuesdays: JUNE: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th and JULY: 9th and 16th. Students do not need to attend all sessions in order to join in the fun. Since this is a new program to us, we are asking students to RSPV with the library at least 1 week prior to attending in order to have enough space and supplies. All supplies will be provided by the library.

Since 2003, the SD Humanities Council's statewide book program "One Book South Dakota" has encouraged people across the state to read and discuss the same book, often with a SD connection, throughout the year. The library has received a SDHC grant to aquire 35 of 2024's chosen book "Little and Often" by Trent Preszler to be loaned to our patrons. As part of the the grant, we will then host a book discussion on this book on Thursday May 23rd at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome and no registration is required.

School Year Programs at the Library will run through the last week of school – May 6th-10th!!

Thank you to everyone who joined our Crocheting Club and Adult Art Classes this year! Watch next winter for these fun programs and possibly others to start up again!
